My parents, ten siblings, and I moved to the United States when I was eleven years old. I went to high school in Los Angeles, served in the air force, and attended UCLA where I majored in Economics. I worked at Boeing Aircraft for over twenty years, I retired from Boeing five years ago and am now working for my own Electrical company. I have always encouraged my daughter to pursue her dreams and I know studying abroad was something she wanted to accomplish during her time in college. During my time in the air force, I was able to travel all over the world and I am happy my daughter was fortunate to visit many of the countries I visited. I am very proud of my daughter and would tell parents to encourage their child to explore as much of the world as possible and study abroad.
