Russell Dana "Russ" Feingold is an American politician from the U.S. state of Wisconsin. He has served as a Democratic member of the U.S. Senate and the Junior Senator from Wisconsin since 1993.

A recipient of the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award, Mr. Feingold is best known for his maverick voting and co-sponsorship of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act ("McCain-Feingold Bill"), a major piece of campaign finance reform legislation, but has a reputation of one of the most liberal senators.
